The ScapeCast Crew

We'd like to introduce you to the cast and crew at The ScapeCast.

Kevin Bachelder (Co-host)
Kevin lives just south of Boston, MA in the USA. He first became interested in sci-fi by watching the original Star Trek series in reruns during the early 70's. Along with Farscape the other popular sci-fi and fantasy topics he enjoys are Firefly, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, The Matrix and The X-Files.

He also works on two other sci-fi podcasts - The Signal and Firefly Talk.

Kevin has worked as a computer network support engineer for many years. Between his strong interest in sci-fi and computers Kevin says he is a "true geek".

When he isn’t watching sci-fi DVDs, dealing with computer issues or posting on his techie blog Kevin enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and two daughters.

Brent Barrett (Editor, Trivia, Beacon)
Brent has been a Scaper since the first airing in the U.S. in 1999. From May, 1999, he has maintained The John and Aeryn Site. Brent has also been editing audio and video, both professionally and as a hobby, for over ten years.

Born in California, Brent still resides in Northern California today with his wife and two children. When he's not working on The ScapeCast, Brent can be found developing software and writing for a living, and playing Unreal Tournament competitively on-line for fun.

Lindy Rae (Co-host)
Lindy has been watching Farscape since it first aired in 1999. By the end of Season 2, she realized that this was the best SciFi show ever seen on TV; almost heresy for a Trekker to even consider...but there it was...

After completing her engineering studies during the 70's, Lindy moved to California and worked in various hi-tech ad-ventures. In the early 90's, she joined her husband as CFO of their family business. When not working with the crew of the ScapeCast, Lindy enjoys tinkering around in the garage with her warp engine. She’s got it up to Heche 3 already and is waiting for that mad scientist guy to whom she’s married to finish the spaceship so they can get the hezmana out of here... Until then, Lindy lives in the Silicon Valley with 2 cats (Alice and Trixie), a crazy dog, The Boy....and his drumset.

Kimberly Thompson (Graphics, Voice)
Kimberly is a new 'Scaper, having been shot through a wormhole in December 2005 via the Farscape syndication deal and with a little help from Netflix. However, she's not new to sci-fi, having been introduced to the original Star Wars film on one spring day in 1977 by her Dad. Her love of sci-fi/fantasy TV and film extends to The Lord of the Rings, Lost, Firefly/Serenity, Battlestar Galactica, and Doctor Who.

A Los Angeles native, she busies her days by working as a system administrator at a transportation company. Nights, weekends, and vacations are filled with things like flights to the UK, Browncoat meetups, knitting, Disneyland, geocaching, metal concerts, motorcycling, snowboarding, and ice skating with family.
