Farscape Revived On SCIFI.COM

SCI FI Channel will revive its popular original show Farscape as a Web-based series of short films on SCIFI.COM's SCI FI Pulse broadband network, part of a slate of new original online programming.

SCI FI has ordered 10 webisodes of Farscape, to be produced by Brian Henson and Robert Halmi Jr. and produced by The Jim Henson Co.

The series will expand the Farscape universe, but the network had no announcements on casting or premiere dates.

Other new online series include SCI FI Tech, a companion to SCIFI.COM's SCI FI Tech blog, and Invent This!, which sets out to find the world's quirkiest inventions and get into the minds of the inventors behind each creation.

One of my favourite Podcasters, J.C. Hutchins, has a double-whammy this week!

For this week's episode of his podcast novel (aka audiobook in weekly installments), "7th Son," he's got Ron "Shephard Book" introing the show, and none other than our GIGI! doing "The Story So Far..."

(He's the same one who had Nathan Fillion do TSSF a while back ;) )

Check it out at:  http://www.jchutchins.net

The ScapeCast / Send us your Holiday Filk!
« on: December 04, 2006, 03:23:00 PM »
Has anyone got any Seasonal Farscape Filk?

The ScapeCast ( http://www.scapecast.org )  is looking for Scapers to send in some Holiday Season Filk.

If you've ever done a "Roasting Scarrans with a Qualta Blade", or a "Jingle Bells Dargo Smells" or even a "It's beginning to be a Frelling Christmas" the ScapeCast wants to hear it!

So please, record your Scapery Christmas Carol, or Farscape Holiday Song, and send it in to feedback@scapecast.org or call 1-206-350-6692 and sing it to our voicemail.

A selection of the entries will be played on our December 22nd episode!

And remember what the commercial says:  "Got Filk?"

We're looking forward to hearing your songs!
