Another fantastic episode! :) I was really touched by the Season 3 character review for D'Argo. I really felt bad for him after hearing it. In fact, I felt worse for him while listening to it as opposed to watching the series. Another thing I really enjoyed were those two "DRDs" playing up the whole Canadian thing. It was almost like watching -or in this case, listening to- a SCTV sketch featuring Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas. :D Well, keep up the good work! I can't wait for the next episode!

I think Wendy said Stolen Life (the futuristic newarr noir) is “available on Dig It dot com, so check it out and dig it, and share it with others.” What is that site? I can’t seem to find it. There’s no digit.com, dig-it.com is being moved, and diggit.com has something to do with cell phones. Did I mishear her?

You'll want to go here: http://digg.com

But I can't find anything about Stolen Life there, so I'm not sure what Wendy was on about.  Perhaps she can chime in?

This is just a guess but she might have been referring to this post on SliceofScifi.com that had gotten a few diggs...

The Dargo review was great.  Every time I listen to the cast I am reminded of all these fabulous moments that  I thought have faded away....but they always come rushing back and make me love the show even more.  Thanks again...

Just heard the episode, brilliant! :)

As expected, the second half of the Shooting from the Hip segment was worth the wait.

Nice to hear that Hank appreciates Sharpe.  I can also heartily recommend the DVD collection.  Sean Bean comes from Sheffield, (like me ... and the Arctic Monkeys) so, of course Sean Bean does a "Proper English accent" :D

Coincidentally, "Sharpe's Enemy"(The episode with Liz Hurley) is showing on UKTV History, as I type :)

DRD's of the worlds unite ;D

John's accent was so bad it was good and sounding like a stuck record more Shooting from the Hip and cast chats although real life tends to get in the way ;)
Never have watched any of the Sharpe series, didn't really become a fan of Sean Bean until perhaps Ronin and then Lord of the Rings.
.
You see that one, that's that star right there. It's my point of reference, my guide, and it always becomes the center of my chart. I always name it Aeryn.

As usual, another fantastic episode.  I also loved Sharpe's Rifles.  I don't remember why I first started watching it as I'm not interested in the Napoleonic wars (or any), but it was probably because of Sean Bean......and then I became hooked.  I also enjoyed Band of Brothers.  I probably started watching that to see what Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks could do with a television show.  Another series I liked was Hex, very supernatural and "steamy" in places, but good storylines in the first series.

Loved the DRD review, and the second half of Shooting from the Hip.  I'm getting so much more out of the show listening to the podcasts and the rewatch on TWOP.  I particularly love Jacob's and Couch Baron's recaps.  Longing for the missing episodes to be recapped.

One thing I've noticed is the similarity in voices of Hank and Robert Sean Leonard on House.  Is that your day job, Hank?

How did you guess?  Yes, it's true; by day I'm a foot taller, a good forty pounds lighter and more than a decade younger.  Isn't it wonderful what they can do with makeup!  ;D
