Another great episode, guys! I really enjoyed this one. I was kinda sad to hear the character review for Zhaan, though. It didn't really make me as sad as I initially was when I first saw Zhaan sacrifice herself, but it sure came close. She really grew on me over the course of the series, so I had a feeling she would be more than willing to sacrifice her life for the rest of the Moyans, but I never thought it'd occur so early in the 3rd season. :'( If you interview Virginia Hey at DragonCon, could you tell her she played the most serene, caring, and all-around spiritually inspiring person I've ever seen on television? I would be very grateful to you if you did.

Anyway, I also enjoyed the costume article. I can't wait for part 2 of that. It might give me some ideas since I'm still hard at work on my Farscape Halloween costume. Oh, and one more thing: Am I fahrbot, or does is seem like every time I post an answer to the Question of the Week on your forums, that it's the same person who reads my replies on the following episode? I just happened to notice that. You know, I wouldn't mind Nicola or any of the other female members of the ScapeCast crew reading my answers too, even though I'm a guy. ;D

Thanks, MAS.  We actually tend to have the same person read someone's replies when we can.  It sets a tone.  :)

Great episode. I love the Zhan Character review, very well done.

By the way I started to watch Heroes, just because of you guys.  ;D
You mention it that often that I have to see it by myself and I really like it. I’m looking forward to watch more of that wonderful show and of course listen to more of the scapecast.

Folks, we've posted a hint for the Stolen Life DVD contest, since the answer can be tricky.  Check out the rules thread.  And, hey, if you submitted an answer this weekend and want to change your mind, then please re-submit with a note, and we'll discard your first guess.  :)  We're just that nice.  :D

Another great episode, as usual. I especially loved the Zhaan character review. Really summed up the complexities and tragedy of her character well. Zhaan is the character that first got me properly hooked on Farscape, so I really appreciated this. ^_^

Thanks guys.   Zhaan is such a multi-layered character and it is easy to take her at face value because she is so strikingly beautiful.  But she is so much more complex a character than that.   You just can't underestimate the "beautiful blue bitch".   Which three words from Rygel did a nice job of encapsulating her personality.   The crew really miss her once she is gone.   *sniff*

cool i finally got a quiz question right (but still couldn't remember the actual episode names).  Ok I'll start to write on the forums and answer the questions.  I'm just always at a loss of words when it comes to Farscape.  I have a strong emotional connection to this show.  Cried when it had that horrible ending cliffhanger, rejoiced when I got closure with PKW and well I'm just an emotional rollercoaster during and after each episode of The Scapecast.  Now to answer the question of the week...

I really did enjoy just about every single thing of every single character that happened throughtout the show, especially with Aeryn Sun and John Crichton.  So this question is very very hard to answer.  I guess I'll have to go with PKW, when she's speaking to a comatose-state John and explaining to him how he saved everything, how she embraced motherhood and that 3 isn't a scary number anymore, but that she will be damned if she lost John again, fastforward a little to Aeryn's reaction at seeing John regaining consciousness and communicating to his son for the first time.  Yes that was priceless.

Yes we all know what the male of the species means when he says he'll respect you in the morning with or without freslin...
 :-*

"An intriguing exterior" certainly describes Zhann very well and we all felt her loss after her struggles and sacrifice which were both significant cornerstones of the show and how it developed.
Farscape certainly had a unique style in wardrobe and backed it up so it never became pure titillation although it never quite got near the levels of LEXX.
"Revolution", the only Beatles 7" (and one of their best) I owned and that was a "B" side of Hey Jude. Patiently awaiting the HD DVD release of season 1 of Heroes and yeah if you liked Farscape I think Heroes would slide into that missing space we've had since PK Wars. The UK scifi channel has/is screening the show but the BBC will be broadcasting it in widescreen (and HD) at the end of July.
.
You see that one, that's that star right there. It's my point of reference, my guide, and it always becomes the center of my chart. I always name it Aeryn.

Thanks for the reminder, Kevin.  I loved Space: Above and Beyond when it was first shown.  It was one of my earliest scifi favourites.  I wasn’t sure if I missed some episodes or the next season when it was first broadcast in Australia as it didn’t seem to reach a conclusion.  So I checked it out a few months ago and it was cancelled after just the one season, although it is still available on DVD.  Yet another show cancelled before its time.

Hey Debbie,

Thanks for your message!

Alas Space: Above and Beyond joined a long list of good shows cancelled before their time by the FOX network here in the states.  Firefly was another on that list and I could go on for hours about FOX's poor decision making with SciFi/Fantasy shows.

Around here we often refer to them as the "network that shall not be named".  :)
