Am I wrong or Kevin was talking to Claudia via Skype or mobile phone? 'cause her voice is slightly different here and with English not being my language I have serious problems with understanding everything.

We used a traditional phone conferencing service for the call and its recording.  Quality isn't as good as an in person interview but our editors work very hard to make it as clean as possible.

Thanks for technical details explanation After listening to Claud's interview for the second time today morning I can honestly say that I was able to understand about 60% of it, so I'm going to be eternally grateful for the transcript if anybody finds time to do it

In her interview Claudia mentioned having just finished doing her first talking book. Any chance to get more info about what it is and when it will be released?

Unfortunately she didn't share any details about that project. 

I suspect that if she was at liberty to talk about it she would have.

Enjoyed the interview.  I have a question about the technical side -- was it an analog recording (tape)?  I ask because both of your voices sounded higher in pitch (CB's sounded half an octave higher!).  CB also sounded like she had a bad head cold, which can also effect pitch.  (And perhaps like AS and WP, she used a "different" voice to play her character, and this is her "real" voice.)

If you were working on tape, maybe the capstan had some dren build-up.  Of course, too, telephones' frequency range tend to clip off the bottom -- sometimes pitching one's voice a few notes down makes the recorded result sound more like "real life."

Maybe you already know this; just trying to be helpful.  Love your program.

It was a digital recording by a teleconferencing system.  Teleconferencing systems aren't know for their high quality.
