I thought this was an exceptional episode, though I wonder if there were enough questions for Lani about Pilot as opposed to Bialar Crais.

Loved the essay about Crais too.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it.  I had a lot of fun interviewing Lani, and appreciated how generous he was to sit down and talk with me.  The interview time just flew past.

Thanks for listening!

Hey, what a great episode! I loved the character review for Crais, as well as the interview with Lani Tupu. I had no idea he was so funny! I love how he said that a good scotch and a cigar works wonders for helping him play Crais. :D Hey, do think you can offer my congratulations to Wayne Pygram on becoming a father when you see him in Burbank? I can only imagine what his son is gonna think if he sees his father in the Scorpy makeup...  ;D

Keep up the good work! I'm already eagerly awaiting the next episode! Although, I've gotta go through season 3 again and make my decision for the Question of the Week, but that's cool, 'cause it gives me an excuse to watch "Revenging Angel" and "Incubator" again... :)

Great interview, Wendy.  I just wish you'd asked the question that's been nagging me from the first time I saw his name -- what's his heritage?  Is he Indian?  Aboriginal?  Italian?  (No, that was Topo Gigo.)  Seriously, I'm just curious.

I'd go with some Maori ancestry because he was born in New Zealand, but that's just my guess.

I may be wrong, but I thought Lani said once that he's not Maori but Samoan.

Samoan.  That is what I remember too.   8)

Great episode! It amazes me in every episode how good Farscape sounds even only in audio clips, how it works without a picture.

Thanks for Lani interview. Hearing about how fast Farscape was produced makes me feel that the effect they achieved is some kind of miracle. ;)

Everytime I hear the final words uttered by Crais I get a shiver (not to mention the "something in the eye" reaction of a man not prone to crying in front of the TV) and the clip was played so many times I lost count:)

Given the question of the week how appropriate it was for the episode to be so Crais specific from the marvellous character review to the interview with the man himself, trivia and Nina's take on her "secret favourite" character.
.
You see that one, that's that star right there. It's my point of reference, my guide, and it always becomes the center of my chart. I always name it Aeryn.

Thanks Jarrek.

Some of us were a bit worried that we overdid the Crais thing; even tho we totally love him like you so eliquently wrote.  Glad that you liked it.

PS: I did a bit of the puddling up thing myself several times during the ep.   :'(

That was a spectacular interview with Lani!  I nearly teared up on the stairmaster when you started talking about Crais and Talyn's farewell!
