Debbie,
Get to Burbank if you possibly can; it's like the best family reunion you can imagine! We had lots of newbies this year, and did the best job we could to welcome and integrate them all. (Which isn't what I told Anthony Simcoe at breakfast on Sunday. He asked if we were welcoming them. I said that no, we were shunning them. He laughed, and then announced, "You don't know Farscape like I know Farscape!")
Burbank is both big and intimate at the same time; once you get used to the size of the crowd, you realize that the size only matters inside the auditorium. And the party is almost continuous from the moment you arrive (hugs in the lobby!) until the moment you leave (hugs in the... well, you get the idea).
As for Oz, I've been at both OzScapes and can't wait for 2009. They're small and friendly and great fun. And they have this in common with Burbank: a friendly cast and a welcoming bunch of Scapers. And of course you get more quality time with both, thanks to the numbers.
Anyway, in case it isn't obvious, I recommend both experiences highly.
