Good job, y'all!  It was almost like being there.  Thanks to Creation for extending the denoument --perhaps if I start recycling cans now I can go next year?

It's funny -- I noticed the next show would be 42, and wondered if HHGTTG would be mentioned, and it was.  Great minds, eh?  But PLEASE tell me you have also seen the BBC-TV version of Hitchhiker's, and not only the Disneyized version!  Despite the cheap SFX (until I saw the DVD extras I had no idea HOW cheap!  How clever those Brits can be!), I think the Beeb version is better acted and funnier.  (Plus you get to see Douglas Adams' bare bum!)

Why would you think we hadn't?  :)  The trivia question was about the TV series, and one of the quotes I played during the article reading was from the TV show and not the movie.   :D  But since Adams was involved in the radio series, the books, the TV series, AND the movie, I enjoy them all.  True, he passed away before the movie was filmed, but he wrote the first couple of drafts of the movie script and the guy who wrote the final draft was blessed by Adams' family and friends.

I personally really enjoyed all HHG incarnations.   ;D

Fantastic episode! It was the next best thing to being there. Hoping I’ll have the chance next year.
Thanks for giving us stuck-at-homers a glimpse.  :)

BB:
I noticed the Mark W-D comment, but I was faked out with some of the sound clips (Alan Rickman's voice is so distinctive) and the "dolphin song" (which was the best part of the movie, I think!)   ;)

Fan-frelling-taststic live broadcast, guys! Now that I know there's gonna be a convention next year, I've definitely got to save up some cash for it! Thankfully, I just started a new job, so it should be no problem. I just hope I'll be able to go, and I sincerely hope Wayne Pygram will show up too! I so want to put a pic of both him and I on my MySpace... ;D Hell, I wouldn't mind some pics of me and some of the other cast members as well. Well, I eagerly await listening to the next episode! See ya later!

Great episode, as usual folks.
But I heard someone comment that they thought the jokes about Hammon ( and General Hammond ) don't get so much laughter. . . NOT ! I think they are frelling hysterical. I love those jokes. I look forward to hearing another joke every time I listen to your show. DON'T stop telling that joke, please.
But I also need to be reminded about if Hammon is left side, what do they say for the right side ?
Again,  please keep the laughter coming.  I love your show . And I love that I can give you my feed-back on your show ( and the jokes you tell ) . That makes your show truly special from any other " forum " website . That is why I became a fan of your " Forum " website .

Danny Grazer

I think we should have some links later in the week once all the convention attendees get home and start uploading their photos.

I believe you're thinking of Treblin; or possibly BOW SIR.

We also LOVE the "When did he gate aboard?" and laff every single time.  Great minds think alike you know.  ;D

Loved the live episode.  I so have to be there next year as I want to see a Scapecast live show and be part of what seems to be a fun con.  I've never been to a con before, but from what I'm reading on all the boards, the Farscape one seems to be as much a get together of old friends as seeing the stars of the show.  I'm so glad it's not the last one.  There's one in Australia in 2009 which I was planning to get to, but I want the Burbank experience as well.  I can dream and plan and scheme and..........

Debbie,

Get to Burbank if you possibly can; it's like the best family reunion you can imagine!  We had lots of newbies this year, and did the best job we could to welcome and integrate them all.  (Which isn't what I told Anthony Simcoe at breakfast on Sunday.  He asked if we were welcoming them.  I said that no, we were shunning them.  He laughed, and then announced, "You don't know Farscape like I know Farscape!")

Burbank is both big and intimate at the same time; once you get used to the size of the crowd, you realize that the size only matters inside the auditorium.  And the party is almost continuous from the moment you arrive (hugs in the lobby!) until the moment you leave (hugs in the... well, you get the idea).

As for Oz, I've been at both OzScapes and can't wait for 2009.  They're small and friendly and great fun.  And they have this in common with Burbank: a friendly cast and a welcoming bunch of Scapers.  And of course you get more quality time with both, thanks to the numbers.

Anyway, in case it isn't obvious, I recommend both experiences highly.  :D
