Liked the "QL" segment, and the crew chat was funny!

Hair-raising theory
I wanted to explain this at more length (hair pun?) in the Aeryn article, but it took too much time, and Rob said it was BORing.

SOMEone must be acting as a barber aboard Moya, or else our alien buddies have hair like fur; it gets to one length, and that's it.  However, human hair grows about 1/2-inch per month, so John is dealing with his hair (and beard) in some fashion, because it doesn't change, except in "Jeremiah Crichton" and "Crichton Kicks," when he's off Moya.  By the length of his hair in "CK," it looks like 6 months has passed.

As for Aeryn -- when John visualizes their wedding in "Dog with 2 Bones," Aeryn's hair reaches the top of her strapless gown.  John would likely see her as she was at the time.  However, when she returns in "Promises," her hair is to her waist.  I theorized that Sebacean hair grows at approximately the same rate as humans'.  According to web info, Claudia Black and I are about the same height (I may be more long-bodied), so I measured myself  -- from "strapless gown" to waist is 12 inches!  She's been gone between 1 - 2 years?? Sebacean babies grow fast -- so do their hair??

However -- on rewatch, I noticed that Aeryn's hair length changes back and forth throughout season 4.  A big fat continuity error -- UNLESS Sebaceans are like that 1960s "Tressy" doll, which had a button in her back, so kids could shorten/lengthen the hair!   :D

I really enjoyed the Aeryn review.  Great job, you two!

The crew chat was great.  I really love going behind the scenes and seeing how this show works.  I know Nicola was giving mad props to the writers, but without the efforts of the crew, our jobs would be for our gratification alone.

Brent, Hank, Kevin, Kim, Kurt, Lindy, Nicola, Sammy, and Wendy:  Thank you so very much for this labor of love and devotion that has provided laughter, tears, and something to look forward to every two weeks.  I firmly believe that it is us who owe you beyond any price for this.

Here's to Episode 60 and beyond.

Thank you for hosting the crew chat, SCC.

Great Aeryn article, and Kurt's expansion on his George Carlin post a few weeks back
One thing the crew HAS to know is that NOBODY finds Tralk Talk UNfunny. It's hilarious, and sometimes even poignant. The only bones of contention may be that the arc allows episodes to become a little unfocused. The characters and *ehem* actors are a pleasure each week or two.

Okay, I finally got to listen to the entire episode, all I can say is THE SCAPECAST ROCKS !!!

I liked the Aeryn segment by Janis & Rob, I liked how both writers voiced parts !!
Thanks to Kurt for the "7 Words", very well done  ( I could hear the original Carlin in it )

Most of all I liked the Crew Chat. I continue to be amazed at how you keep putting the podcast out & it gets better & better. When you do the crew chats you can really tell you are having a blast doing it  ( I am jealous )

Hank asked why we listen, simply because you continue to put out something that is as close to Farscape as it gets. The character reviews make us look at our favorites from different angles, one source for news, shooting from the hip, crew chats, tralk talk ... all comes together as GREAT ENTERTAINMENT !!!

And YES ... Tralk talk is Funny & Crazy ... keep it up !

LONG LIVE TIGGER  ;D ;D ;D

Thanks again !!!   ( now I need a bathroom break .. ha ha ha )

...i don't think this observation is boring  :)...i too noticed Aeryn's hair (what woman doesn't notice shiny, lush hair? ) the length was inconsistent with the episodes...my guess was budget cuts  :(...they had to film different eps together?... or wigs...ah well, however she looked she looked great !...she esp looked fabulous as a bride...( and Crichton looked pretty good too  :-*)...

...i also had one of those "hair growing" dolls...i loved it !...i also seem to recall a tall blond doll that "walked"...

Claudia was wearing a wig (or wigs) in S4.  The constant working of her hair proved to be damaging to it, so they began using wigs, which is why her hair looks so different and "off" in S4.

...just finished listening to the Aeryn review and not only was i impressed with the thoroughness of the review but the way of presenting it was exceptional !

...it was great listening to Aeryn being described over the 4th season as it was a very frustrating time for the  J/A relationship and Aeryn certainly wasn't the same Aeryn we grew to know and love over the first three seasons...hearing the review in the he said / she said way, with the background voices was very unique and extremely enjoyable to listen to... :)

...and ya i'm with you Lindy...that scene in the corridor checking the comms is absolutely one of my favorites...even though it was so short, the emotions radiating from the screen were mesmerizing...

...finished listening to the Podcast and what a great show....

...the shameless plug for the itunes reviews...
anything we can do to keep the Scapecast going and getting the recognition it deserves is
   a good thing...

...Through the Looking Glass...
QL was a show i glanced at but never watched...after hearing the similarities to Farscape that
Michael pointed out  has intrigued me...a sci-fi show not based on special effects but character
development and "good old fashioned" storytelling sounds like a show i'd enjoy watching...i
also enjoyed hearing it in Michael's voice  :)

...Crew Chat...
your laughter was contagious  :D...even though you all live great distances from each other
your friendship sounds so close.... :)   ( trelk talk is therapy !!!)  :D
...like many of you said i too find listening to the articles and segment on the SC or reading the
forums by Farscape fans only enriches my experience next time i watch an episode...the knowledge
and creativity from different people's insights or their thoughts or perspectives really effect my
enjoyment of Farscape in a positive way...i feel that the Farscape show gets better every time
i watch old episodes with a new "fresh" thought...also having smarter people explain the reasons
"why" i have liked a certain scene or character ( something i didn't consciously understand myself)
has helped me view the way i live and understand more about who i am... :)

...again the blooper at the end was priceless...a bathroom break...what a hoot  :D

The Hidden Chicken, you're killing me, TT just keeps getting better and better ;D

The Aeryn Review was excellent both in terms of content but also production, as mentioned it shows how much effort goes into what on the surface seems fairly straight forward to the listener.
Woohoo, crew chat :D

.
You see that one, that's that star right there. It's my point of reference, my guide, and it always becomes the center of my chart. I always name it Aeryn.
