What was your first Farscape get-together or convention and what was it like?
My first Farscape con was Burbank 2008. I was worried at first, partly because it was the first con for my wife and I, but also because I had never met any of the people there except online. Add in the fact that we were rooming with people we had never met, and you have the recipe for front-page news axe murders.

In all seriousness, it was a great time. We got over our shyness very quickly and discovered the truth about Scapers, which is that they are really a global family. Scapers embody the concept of bringing diversity together and building relationships on the strengths each of us has, very much like the Moyans.
The highlights were meeting the Scapecast cast and crew and getting to shake Anthony Simcoe's hand in gratitude for D'Argo. I can tell that the friendships we made in only three days time will be there for much, much longer.
I fully recommend taking the time to attend one of these events if you can. Take it from two former con virgins: you'll have the time of your life.
