Tuning Into SciFI TV?

Uh, no... I was in the episode.  Why do you think I wasn't?  And I edited it too... :)

Great piece on Xhalax Sun. Especially near the closing where you said, "Aeryn reflected Xhalax's possible past, but Xhalax reflected Aeryn's possible future." That was a great way of summing up the two characters, leaving me with much more to think on about both Xhalax and Aeryn. Great job.

Aeryn: But you say that you want to go back to this place Earth, a place that you tell me has so much disease and suffering?
John: Well... you guys don't have chocolate.

...a very funny intro with Anthony Simco and Cladia Black  :D

Xhalax Sun
an excellent article by Kelly Morris, that for me, touched on all the important points of Xhalax that made her such and intresting and important charactor in the FS story...i found Xhalax only enriched my understanding of Aeryn's charactor and made me respect her all that much more, as she was able to overcome the horror of a psycho mother and make a fulfilling life for herself.

...a point i'm pondering is with the Sebacean breeding policies, would Aeryn and other children have gotten surnames from their biological parents ?

Ender's Game
Michael Falkner really explained the story of this book well and it is certainly one that i am going to try, as he made it sound very intriguing... :)

...i noticed tons of answers for the Q of the Week...us Scapers are sure big readers !! i hope there are more book reviews on the SC like this one...

J&A Season 3 part 1
it just keeps on getting better and better...i for one appreciate all the time Brent has put into making this, because hearing the relationship progress without all the other distractions is like i'm hearing it for the first time and is making it all that much more special...thanks Brent  :)

ps...missed you in the Co-host's chair Kevin but Kimberly sure did a good job..
...Yeah !!, i got the trivia question right  8)

Great job filling in Kim.  ;D

Really enjoyed the discussion re Ender's Game. I have not read it and plan to do so asap. Thanks Michael.

Plus the review of Xhalax Sun was great. It suddenly struck me that Aeryn's arc in the series also included becoming an assassin, although definitely not exactly like her Mother's tragic deterioration. Are we all to repeat some of the mistakes or life experiences of our parents? Thanks to Kelly for giving me lots to think about.

Chainsaw? Yikes.

As a follow-up, Orson Scott Card was interviewed by SciFi.com about the upcoming Ender's projects.

Warning: There are some spoilers in the interview for those who haven't read the series.
