So, Does the Timeline feature move to PKWs or to other characters now?

Great article on Jenavian.

Congrats to the promotion, Michael F.

I'll be doing J&A PKW in the near future.

Then it's up to other writers to tackle other topics.  I may have some more ideas too, but we'll see what other writers come up with.  Some ideas we could tackle are: Wormhole Timeline; Scorpie & Sikozu; D'Argo & Chiana; Grayza; et al.

Uhm, Lindy? On what planet is LAX (or, as I like to call it, LAXitive Airport) easier than the much smaller, nicer, and calmer Bob Hope Airport in Burbank?

Well, I don't know Lindy's criteria, but LAX is certainly CHEAPER (almost 1/2 the price) than flying into Bob Hope.

Liked the Jena article.  Congrats to Michael!  And it was good to hear Hank -- I like his sense of humor.

Hurm. Not in my experience. But I guess it depends on the airline.....

I used to live in Culver City nearby and my best friend lives in Santa Monica, so getting to and from LAX is never a problem for me.  In fact, I always found it annoying when trying to find my way to Burbank from Santa Monica where I would be staying.  And the Marriott at LAX is right there, you just hop onto the airport shuttle and you're there!

And the originating airport, no doubt.  CVG (Cincinnati) is about the most expensive US airport, so -- instead of driving 20 minutes there, lots of us drive an hour to Dayton to save 50% on airfares.

As AmmeLeep says, the reason it's easier is because it's cheaper and has more flights to/from than Burbank.  So, for example, if you're Kevin and your FLIGHT TO BURBANK is cancelled (like what happened for the 08 con), you can probably get another flight to LAX that day.  Or, you're patiently waiting for your boyfriend to arrive from Boston and he almost misses his connecting flight and it was the only one from ORD that day and there is absolutely NO WAY you are gonna wait another day without your head exploding.  Did I say that out loud?   :o

Whereas many airlines operate much fewer flights to Burbank.

It's an options thing.

I'm glad people liked the Jena article. So just out of curiosity, what do you guys think of the possibility of Jena being irreversibly contaminated? Do we think Aeryn might have wound up like Jena?

I would almost have to say that Jena had been irreversibly contaminated (or at least labeled that way).  However, I raise the possibility she would have been labeled as such due to her being too much of a rebel within the strict confines of the Peacekeeper establishment.  I utterly fail at ever seeing her ever being an obedient Peacekeeper soldier.  My guess, she was too much of a free bird for her immediate superiors to stomach,  but her actions at the same time caught the attention of someone higher up who saw potential in her.  Conveniently making up some pretense to declare her contaminated to get her out of the ranks, they then have her swiftly disappear within the Special Directorate, no questions asked.

As for Aeryn, she could have been, but I doubt she would have been as good a free-lancer as Jena.  A good indication of that is to see what happened to her mother.  No, she wasn't special directorate, but she was in another special, outside-the-channels, unit.  And it was clear it ate her up from within.
