Rewatched Season 1
« on: December 11, 2009, 03:11:03 PM »
So now that I've just finished rewatching the first season of Farscape via the Complete Series DVD, I have to say that despite some goofiness, I did love watch I was seeing again.

My favorite NON regular character in the first season was definitely Gelina (PK Tech Girl).

Am I the only one that didn't laugh at or hate Jeremiah Crichton like the way those on the commentary track seemed to?

Heh... JC was a bit of a... Xena-like episode, so it was a bit campy.  Didn't think it was god awful, though.  As many have said, the worst episode of Farscape is still better than many other shows' average episodes.

I agree that Gelina was a favorite non-regular.

I have to say, the only thing I didn't like about JC was the beard LMAO And as Brent said, the worst episode of Farscape (whichever that may be) is still way better than what other shows call their best episodes.

I actually think it was one of the better episodes of season 1. Must be just me then, I guess  :-[

I think the two episodes I disliked the most were the one on the planet that was on drugs (D'Argo's hyper rage) and the one with the emotional vampire.

Oh wait, and that Through The Looking Glass episode was annoying given the aggravating tonal shifts and sound effects through each version of Moya.
