Ah, my first post here.
I started listening to the ScapeCast back in June 2006 while I drove back and forth for the Navy. You see, I'm on submarines, and my boat was posted at the shipyard in Portsmouth, NH, but I had a three-month school in Groton, CT to attend. So, every two weeks or so, I would drive back and forth to stand duty on the boat or interview with the captain. The ScapeCast kept me awake for the two-and-a-half hour drive, and I was able to listen to four back episodes in a weekend. I actually started watching FarScape in September when my good friend lent me the entire series. I only got as far as the Princess Trilogy due to the heavy work load when I got back to the boat. We've moved back down to Groton, but now we're getting ready to move again... you have to love the military. I have to return my friend's set, but I've seen enough that I'm going to save the money to buy the entire set, sight mostly unseen.
Regarding the question about the Question of the Week (the Question question?):
I've always enjoyed listening to the Question of the Week, and it's kept me teased just enough about what's coming up for me to see when I finish the series. The drop in participation could be many things, like the holidays, lack of interest, or a sort of over-saturation. Maybe the questions take a little more than two weeks to fully formulate and answer. I don't know. I just listened to the question two days ago, and now I sit here typing my first post on the forums and my first reply to the Question of the Week.
An idea you might be able to use is to make it every month, so it appears every other episode. Make us think. If that doesn't work, maybe it is interest. Time will tell.
Anyway, keep up the good work.
Mike
